ALPHA CLASH: GENESIS RETURNS
Genesis Returns is the fourth expansion set for Alpha Clash TCG, features the arrival of Genesis, a bitter rival to Clarity and a threat to all who oppose him.
This set features 7x new Contenders, 5x Iconic Rares, 2x Legendaries, 1x Alpha Rare and much, much more! With over 170x new cards to acquire.
This is our favorite set to work so far! So many new and really cool looking characters to work on! The VFX on each character adds the WOW effect.

THE PROCESS
We start with submitting two sketches in every artwork. After getting a greenlight with that, we proceed to clean lineart.
For this example, we did two alternatives color roughs. The color roughs are just that, very rough, we don't want to dwell on effects or detail, just getting the color and lighting right first.
Then we proceed to add final touches, getting the VFX right, and making the material, shadow, and lighting more precise.
For every Alpha Clash TCG work, we are tasked to add another layer of black on any elements that is emitting light/VFX, in this case, the portal. This black layer will be processed so that when printed, it will become a shiny foil that has become Alpha Clash signature.
